Help-Portrait Jackson 2022

Help-Portrait is a global movement of photographers, hairstylists and makeup artists using their time, tools and expertise to give back to those in need. The process is simple – connect with those in need throughout your community, take their picture, print their picture, and deliver it – free of charge. This event takes place annually on the first Saturday in December all over the world. 

RIFA is once again hosting the event in Jackson, Tennessee. Help-Portrait began in Nashville in 2008, and RIFA has been hosting the event since 2009. This year’s event will be held Saturday, December 3rd from 9:00a.m. to 3:00p.m. at 133 Airways Boulevard in Jackson, Tennessee. Participants should enter through the administrative office door. 

Participants will be able select clothing from the RIFA Thrift Store and have their hair and makeup done if they would like. Their portrait will be taken, printed, and then given to them by the middle of December.
