Canstruction: Do You Have What it Takes to Compete?

As we look ahead to our 16th annual design and build competition, Canstruction, we are currently seeking teams of local businesses, industries, churches, and organizations with a design or construction professional to lead and mentor the team through the design and building process.

To compete you will create a structure made entirely from canned foods within a 10’x10’x10’ space. Finished structures will then be judged and have the opportunity to win one of nine prizes, including Best of Show, Structural Ingenuity, Best Use of Labels, and more at our awards ceremony and night of entertainment on Thursday, September 30th, at the Carl Perkins Civic Center.

After the competition, all cans will be donated to the RIFA Food Bank to continue feeding those in need throughout our community this year.

In the past, we have seen beautiful structures of butterflies, school buses, various animals, donuts, and so much more. We look forward to seeing the creativity and hard work of our teams this year!
