Give Food

One food donation can contribute to fighting hunger in Jackson.

Donated food is an integral part of our work to serve our neighbors that are struggling with food insecurity and hunger. We do not purchase food, so donations from individuals, groups, companies and retail industries are vital to our ability to provide meals to those in our community.

Host a Food Drive

If you’re looking to make an impact, sign up to host a food drive—it’s easy and fun. Food drives are a simple but powerful way to gather needed foods and contributions for hunger relief across our community.

Any individual or group—be it a school, business, community group or church—can create a successful food drive. Take action and help fight hunger in our community!

We have made it simple to run your own successful food drive by simply following our Food Drive Guide. Check out the tools in the kit to find out how!

How to donate food:

  • 1Bring your donation to the Donation Door located on the left side building, next to the mural.
  • 2Ring the doorbell and we’ll help unload your car.
  • 3Pick up your receipt for tax purposes from the RIFA attendant.
  • 4Smile knowing you helped feed West Tennessee.

Why donate to RIFA?

Volunteers and community service workers are the lifeblood of RIFA! Without them, we can't operate. You can't bless others without also receiving a blessing yourself, so the volunteers get a great blessing by serving here. Most choose to come back again and again.
