Canstruction

DSC 0007 698x1024 Canstruction Canstruction is a design/build competition with a unique way to help feed the hungry. Competing teams, led by architects, engineers and designers, showcase their talents by designing giant sculptures made entirely out of canned foods.

At the close of the exhibition, all of the food used in the structures is donated to the RIFA Food Bank to distribute to other nonprofits in the Jackson-Madison County area that serve individuals, food pantries and shelters.

Members of the public are encouraged to visit the Carl Perkins Civic Center during regular business hours after the buildout to see the amazing structures!
