Emmy-nominated and best-selling comedian Chonda Pierce has been making audiences laugh for more than two decades with her winning combination of fierce wit and southern charm.
As the best-selling female comedian of all time, her hilarious take on life is easily relatable as she draws humor and good from every situation. Pierce continues to bring the laughs with her unique blend of music and comedy.
Teams of local businesses, churches, industries and schools will build the structures on September 24th with the awards dinner on September 26th.
Tickets are $750 per table of 8, $100 per person and balcony tickets are $15 per person. Tickets can be purchased online by clicking here or by calling RIFA at 731.427.7963.
Canstruction is a design/build competition with a unique way to help feed the hungry. Competing teams showcase their talents by designing giant sculptures made entirely out of canned foods. At the close of the exhibition, all of the food used in the structures is donated to the RIFA Food Bank to distribute to other nonprofits in the Jackson-Madison County area.
Last year, Canstruction Jackson was placed 16th for most food and 1st for most funds donated in the international competition.
